About Grace
I'm currently a PhD candidate and university tutor with a passion for helping students reach their academic goals. Throughout my studies and teaching experience, I've developed a strong understanding of mathematics, statistics, and R programming, along with the communication skills needed to explain complex ideas in a way that's easy to understand.
As a university tutor, I've taught both online and in-person workshops for first, second, and third year courses for math, data science and science degrees. Teaching math, statistics and coding to students with different backgrounds and levels of experience has helped me adapt my approach to suit each individual's learning style and goals.
I know that asking for help can sometimes feel intimidating, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace. Seeing students gain confidence and achieve results they didn't think were possible is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, whether you're preparing for Year 11 or 12 exams, working through university coursework, or simply building confidence in a challenging subject.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged. During each lesson, we'll work through concepts together, practise with examples, and develop problem-solving strategies that you can apply independently.
As a current university tutor, I have experience explaining complex ideas in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. I tutor senior high school students (Years 10, 11, and 12) and university students across mathematics, statistics, and R programming.
I believe the best learning happens in a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them. My teaching focuses on developing a genuine understanding of concepts rather than simply memorising steps, helping students build the confidence and skills to succeed long after our lessons have finished.
