About Lily
Arithmetic is rarely about speed, despite what most classrooms suggest. I actually enjoy the moments when a student realizes that math is a language rather than just a set of rules to follow.
My expertise covers homework help, arithmetic and number sense, geometry, algebra, calculus, and SAT/ACT math prep. Working with 96 students has shown me that science is best learned by asking why, not by memorizing formulas. Being a PhD candidate at UNSW Sydney allows me to bring a high level of analytical rigor to every interaction.
I have spent 12 years honing these skills to support diverse learners who want to move past confusion. My methodology remains steady and structured, which helps during those trickier units, I suppose.

I provide concept maps shared for every chapter to organize your thoughts. These visual tools help you see the bigger picture clearly. Sometimes, the simplest explanation is the most effective way to grasp a complex topic. I usually keep my own notes organized in the same way to stay sharp.
