About Imogen
I am a PhD Biology graduate from the University of Exeter with a strong passion for both science and education. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a deep understanding of biological sciences, from fundamental concepts to advanced research techniques. My experience has taught me that success in Biology comes not only from memorisation but from truly understanding how biological systems work and connect.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Seeing a student grasp a difficult concept or achieve a goal they once thought was out of reach is incredibly rewarding. I believe that every student can succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach.
My aim as a tutor is to make Biology accessible, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students achieve excellent academic results. Whether you are studying for school exams, university assessments, or simply want to deepen your understanding of Biology, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. As a PhD Biology graduate from the University of Exeter, I bring both advanced subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. I have experience helping students at undergraduate level develop a deeper understanding of Biology while building confidence in their abilities.
My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex biological concepts, encouraging critical thinking, and applying knowledge to exam-style questions and real-world examples. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving coursework, strengthening your scientific understanding, or pursuing advanced studies, I provide clear explanations, structured lessons, and ongoing support to help you achieve your goals.
Lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to ensure that students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine appreciation for Biology. I create a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and progress is tracked to ensure continuous improvement.
