About Ayla
I’m a second-year Pharmacy student and I love helping Leaving Cert students reach their goals in Math and Science subjects. I know how tricky subjects like Chemistry can be - I initially struggled with it myself, as I only started it in Sixth Year. With some extra practice and guidance, I managed to get a H1, and I believe everyone can achieve the same with the right support. I still do a lot of Chemistry and Biology in my degree, so I know how to explain tricky concepts in a way that makes sense and sticks. My aim is to help students feel confident with their subjects, and make studying as simple as possible.

I like to focus on each student’s weaknesses and target those areas so they can improve quickly and confidently. I give clear, step-by-step explanations and break down exam questions to make them simple to understand. I believe that repetition and working through exam-style questions are the most effective ways to succeed in exams — this is what that helped me achieve 6 H1s in my leaving cert.
Lessons are online and usually last 1 hour, but if a student wants more time, I'm happy to extend the lesson.
Although I am new to Superprof, I have experience tutoring family friends in Maths and Science, helping them feel more confident and improving their results.
My lessons are mainly aimed at Leaving Cert students of all abilities, but I also welcome Junior Cert students who are struggling with Maths or Science.
