About Ruweyda
As a pharmacology graduate from King's College London with first-class honors, I have a deep passion for the sciences and a strong academic background. Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of teaching GCSE and A-level students in biology, chemistry, and maths. My motivation to teach stems from a desire to share my knowledge and help students unlock their full potential. I find great satisfaction in seeing my students grasp complex concepts and succeed in their studies. Teaching allows me to make a positive impact on their academic journey and inspire a love for learning in these critical subjects.

My tutoring approach focuses on personalised learning, adapting to each student's unique needs with a blend of direct instruction, interactive problem-solving, and real-world applications. Lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes, ensuring comprehensive coverage without overwhelming the student. With a degree in BSc Pharmacology and over 2 years of experience, I have successfully tutored students aged 11 to 18 in subjects like Maths, Biology and Chemistry. My sessions cater to secondary school to Sixth form students, emphasising understanding over memorisation. In the first lesson, I review past papers to identify strengths and weaknesses, then concentrate on improving weaker areas, gradually building a solid foundation in the subject.
