About Timothy

I’m a dedicated, experienced math educator with a passion for helping students succeed — not just academically, but with confidence and clarity. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, graduated from Boston Latin Academy, and taught at Boston Latin School, Boston’s top public high school. My background combines academic rigor with real-world teaching experience in high-performing environments. But what truly sets me apart is my ability to connect with today’s students. I bring a fresh, relatable energy to tutoring, making math approachable for learners who might feel overwhelmed or left behind in traditional settings. I specialize in personalized instruction that adapts to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. Whether it’s filling in gaps, preparing for high-stakes exams, or building a stronger foundation, I offer targeted strategies that lead to real results. Students not only improve their grades — they gain long-term skills and self-assurance. If you're looking for a tutor who understands both the content and the learner, you’ve found the right person. Let’s unlock your student’s full potential together.

Why Work With Me?

I’m not just a math tutor — I’m a mentor who understands how today’s students learn best. With a Master’s in Mathematics Education, a strong academic foundation from Boston Latin Academy, and classroom experience teaching at Boston Latin School, I bring both expertise and empathy to every session.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with this generation of learners. I make math relatable, breaking down complex concepts into clear, personalized steps that actually make sense. Whether your student is struggling, aiming for top grades, or somewhere in between, I meet them where they are and help them build lasting confidence.

I combine academic rigor with a modern, student-centered approach that’s engaging, supportive, and results-driven. Math doesn’t have to be intimidating — and with the right guidance, it can even be empowering.

Let’s work together to make math achievable — and maybe even enjoyable.
