About Nyx
Hi, I am Nyx. After studying Fashion Design in Milan I moved to London where I have been working in the industry as a pattern cutter and product developer for the past 8 years. I have been tutoring students since I was a student myself: I have always enjoyed the teaching process and throughout the years I have helped many fashion students develop their final projects, recent graduates who wanted to dive deeper in a specific topic, as well as people who want to learn a new skill or hobby.

I like the lessons to be friendly and fun. During the first free consultation we would assess together your goals for the tutoring and tailor the lessons to your specific needs. I enjoy working with people of all ages, from high school students to adults and retired individuals, whether they're starting a new hobby or refining their skills. What I can teach includes pattern cutting, from drafting blocks to developing complex patterns, grading, draping on stand, lingerie and corsetry, sewing techniques and construction.
