About Isabelle
I study Physics at Imperial and have been offered a place and IoP scholarship to do my PGCE at Cambridge. I achieved 3 A*’s at A-level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics) and 11 A*'s in my GCSE's - top of my school. I began tutoring in sixth form, teaching GCSE & A-level Maths/science modules. Since then, I have tutored with Outreach Imperial and been a teaching assistant in both Kent College Dubai and Chelsea Academy London.

I plan out my lessons in advance, based on what the student requires. Lessons are goal-oriented and may begin with a short demonstration of the topic. However, I am a strong believer that the majority of time in tutoring sessions should be spent interactively working through problems or examples. This helps students to grow in confidence in their own abilities and allows me to quickly recognise any problem areas. My overall aim is for students to leave lessons feeling encouraged and confident.
