About Ayana

I am a dance instructor with over 20 years of experience. I went to Hunter College and graduated with a BA in Dance. I am respectful to all my students. I believe they can do anything they enjoy doing. I uplift my students when they feel they can't get a step. I build their confidence through all of the lessons they have with me. Also, I give them a challenge so they are always building on their dance skills.

About the lesson

We start with a warm up and stretching. I'm very upbeat, patient and kind. We have a-lot of fun during warmup and choreography. I am very encouraging while you are learning the steps and I make sure I break down the steps easily. These lessons are BEGINNER friendly. See ya soon!

Ayana's response
My student has a great attitude and willing to go over each step over and over until its to her liking.
Just keep practicing and focus on isolations that will help a lot.

I've known Ayana for several years and taken part in her classes whenever she held them. She was always patient with each student, often helping each student reach deep inside themselves to encourage them to let go of stress, be free and comfortable with themselves. She talked her classes through each movement during the dance and as she seemed free herself, she continued to give tips for her students to free themselves. It was fun and liberating. Great class!!
