About Lindsey
My name is Lindsey, and I truly love both learning and teaching math. I graduated from a very prestigious high school - The Taft School - and was always ahead in math. I plan to major in Mathematics in college, as I am very passionate about it. I did some peer tutoring at my high school, so I have plenty of tutoring experience. I am also very flexible and willing to adjust my teaching style and schedule to best fit each student’s needs.

Hi! I’m Lindsey, and I tutor math for elementary, middle school, and high school students. I want my lessons to feel supportive, comfortable, and stress-free while still helping students improve and gain confidence in math. My teaching style focuses on breaking problems down step-by-step and explaining concepts in a simple way that actually makes sense. I adjust each lesson based on the student’s pace and what they need the most help with. A typical lesson usually includes reviewing difficult topics, working through practice problems together, and building good problem-solving skills. I’m very patient and understanding, and I know that everyone learns differently. I try to make math less overwhelming by creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
