About Chelsie
I like to think I'm a friendly, patient person and am very easy to get along with. I am used to working with and around other people and very capable when it comes to adapting to other people's personalities and learning styles.
I've always been very competent when it comes to Mathematics and it's always something I've really enjoyed.
After passing Mathematics at GCSE level (grade A) and at A level (grade B) I chose to join ACCA to study accounting - this is currently ongoing but I currently hold a diploma in business and accounting .
I currently work as the support manager for a company who build financial software, so my primary role is helping with general issues and queries around accounting software, accounting practices, and analysing report figures.
I have been tutoring GCSE maths for several years, as well as early level maths for younger students. I have a number of regular students and am happy to provide references upon request.

Learning is different for everyone, so I will always begin with a 30 minute session to establish your needs, including which exams you have coming up and when, which areas you have the most difficulty in, and which teaching methods work best for you.
From here, we can look at how many sessions we may need and how long those sessions should be - some people learn best with lots of smaller sessions, others learn best with a few longer sessions, so this is something we will take into account when arranging your sessions.
I primarily help at GSCE level, but am happy to assist with A levels and early level maths too!
Sessions will generally be remote (through either Teams or Zoom - whatever works best for you) - I'll also give you access to my email and my mobile number should you need to contact me outside of our lessons. I'm also happy to have students over to my house if the preference is in person - I'm based in South Wales.
