About Marcos
Hello! My name is Marcos, and I'm an incoming Nursing student with a strong background in math and science. As a recent high school graduate, I understand the challenges students face—because I’ve just been there myself. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others feel more confident and capable in their studies. I’ve consistently achieved strong academic results in subjects like biology, chemistry, and advanced math, and I bring that knowledge to each lesson in a way that’s approachable and easy to understand. Hi, I'm Marcos, a recently graduated high school student about to begin my first year in Nursing! I offer tutoring in math and science for students in grades 1 to 8. My approach is supportive, patient, and tailored to each student's learning style.
Each lesson starts with a quick review of past material to reinforce memory. Then, we move into the current topic, working through key concepts and sample questions together. I ask guiding questions to keep students engaged, and we end with practice problems and a brief recap. I also provide tips on how to study effectively and manage time.
As someone who just recently completed high school, I understand how overwhelming coursework and exams can feel. I relate to students and explain concepts in ways that actually make sense to them—not just textbook definitions. I also bring a fresh perspective and lots of encouragement to help them feel capable and motivated.
