About Jayanti

I am Jayanti, a Francophile and passionate linguist, confidence coach, artist and traveller. I am passionate about learning languages as it has opened the door for me to make invaluable friendships, study in different languages, and travel and work in more countries. Despite studying French academically for years, it wasn’t until I used immersive learning methods that I really began to enjoy speaking and learning. I want to share the joy of language learning with you!

About the lesson

Having studied French for 25 years using both academic and immersive methods, in both classes, one to one and self-learning, I am passionate about language learning as much as I am about the French language itself. Using immersive activities that are informal and everyday, I mix creativity, fun and your real life experiences to build your confidence and draw out your natural speaking ability. Lessons are conversation based with real and digital visual aids. Work on vocabulary, expression, accent, grammar, listening, speaking and reading.

I was a client of Jayanti’s for several months. She was hardworking and committed. She listened very well to my needs and tailored the sessions accordingly and adapted as we went along, depending on my changing needs or circumstances. She was very patient with me, especially as I am very slow at reading and doing tasks. She was gentle and empathic with me.
I also felt she guided me and helped me with my needs.
She also was very creative and therefore she was able to visually display my learning needs in a way which was visually appealing to me.
Overall, I was pleased with the service received from Jayanti, I would recommend her. I feel she will be able to use those transferable skills in teaching a language too.
