About Amelia
I’m a 21-year-old tutor who achieved A grades in English at both GCSE and A-Level, so I know the exam system and what it takes to succeed. Having recently been through the process myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that really work. I support students in Years 7–11 with lessons tailored to their needs, whether that’s ongoing term-time support or focused exam preparation. My approach is patient, encouraging, and designed to build both confidence and skills.

My tutoring is centred on each individual student, adapting lessons to their learning style and goals. I work with students in Years 7–11, aiming to build confidence as well as skills through clear explanations, guided practice, and practical strategies. Sessions last one hour and can focus on essay writing, text analysis, general term-time support, or exam preparation. I achieved A grades in English at both GCSE and A-Level, giving me valuable insight into how to approach exams successfully. While I am new to tutoring, my recent experience with the exam system allows me to share techniques that worked for me, helping students feel confident and prepared to succeed.
