I am a guitarist who has over 15 years experience of performing, recording and writing guitar music. Mainly based in rock/punk/pop genres I am more than able to adapt to teach you the songs and styles you’d like to learn.

My methods of teaching are not the classic ‘by the book’ approach. I have been repeatedly praised for my ability to make learning the guitar more enjoyable by taking what my students aim to learn and explaining it in a more practical manor. There will still be written notes & print outs to take home to help practice in your own time but 90% of lessons will be purely guitar playing - whatever your ability.

I’ve known Dan, for over a year now and seen him play many times and have had a couple of lessons with him. He is a fantastic guitar teacher! His unique approach, amazing patience and extensive knowledge makes learning stress free, retainable and most importantly enjoyable, perfect for even the most basic of beginners, like me!
Dan took time to get to know my son and makes his lessons fun and engaging. My son was put off before but Dan turned it around and now he can't wait for lessons.
Taught me all the basics needed to perform confidently at my local open mic nights. It's great to finally be able to support myself when singing!! He was patient and calm and didn't over complicate things.
