About Alonso
I am an abstract painter with years of experience teaching drawing, painting, and other visual art techniques. My own work is built around unorthodox methods and unusual materials, but I believe the richest place to learn comes from mastering the essentials: learning to observe, and to bring that physical direct experience into the act of creating.

Experience with all ages. My teaching is centered on learning skills that can be applied across multiple and subjects. Learn how to use a variety of materials as well as fundamentals of observing form and color. Discover the basics for portraiture, landscape, anatomy, and perspective, as well as more complex concepts in abstract art-making.
