I was Julia's Director of Studies when she read History at Oxford, 2015-18. Alongside her obvious academic credentials, she is a very lively and enthusiastic person, who will be great fun as a tutor. She is also very personable and will be good at jollying her pupils along and getting them interested in what they're doing. I would judge that she will be an engaging and stimulating tutor.
