About Jake
I have been teaching privately one-on-one, groups & in tutoring companies for 7+ years. I have tutored students from many different school settings/backgrounds (selective, ESL & EAL/D background etc.)
All students have achieved significant improvements in their ranks and exam marks
Currently, I teach around 30 students with a mix of one-on-one and groups. I also offer my services at a tutoring centre in Glebe and another tutoring centre at Parramatta. For the class of 2022, approximately 75% of my students are in the top 5 of their school for their subject with me. For the class of 2022 chemistry, 85% of the schools I have taught have achieved an internal rank of 1.

Hi, I'm Jake and I've been part of the tutoring business for over 8 years (both privately and a part of a tutoring company). I have taught countless students throughout their final high school years and understand what students need for their HSC.
I achieved an ATAR of 97 and graduated in the class of 2016 from Girraween High School (top 20 in NSW).
I currently offer tutoring services for (VERY LIMITED SPOTS for 1 on 1, Classes/Groups currently available)
- Year 11 Preliminary Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (Standard, 2U, 3U)
- Year 12 HSC Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (Standard, 2U, 3U, 4U)
What I offer is not limited to the following:
- School Exam and Assignment preparation
- Detailed notes to a Band 6 Standard
- Response development & strengthening
- Content fixing & maintenance
- Questions marked to a HSC standard
- HSC sample responses (reviewed by at least two HSC markers)

Initial Lesson: $70 per hour (due to understanding student ability and what learning modalities are required)
Subsequent Lessons: $60 per hour
Classroom Rate: $45 per hour (dependent on size of class and availability)
Negotiable prices upon class size and/or subjects selected
