I started receiving tutoring from Mr Sriharan in year 12 because I found maths difficult. He had a structured and effective plan and helped me consolidate what I learnt in lessons and taught ahead, which meant that I was overall better prepared for my A Levels. In addition to this, sir made sure to finish the spec plenty of time before exams started, which gave me time to do lots of revision. He was always happy and willing to teach me areas which I found more difficult than others, and in these cases, he took the time to go slow, making sure that I understood exactly what was being taught. And of course, he gave plenty of homework and questions in lesson, because practicing maths and doing difficult questions is the only way to understand the subject and become proficient at it. Safe to say, sir played an instrumental role in helping me be adequately prepared for my exams and due to his excellent teaching methods and the discipline he helped me build (and of course the many past papers I did for homework), I am happy to say that he helped become proficient in a subject which I once found very difficult. However he met my sons where he was, devising a plan and consistent enthusiasm and resources. Which instilled confidence in my sons ability to reason and respond in test situations, not just in Maths but all his subjects.
