About Harriet
I have just finished the penultimate year of my MBChB, having previously completed a Psychology BSc at Loughborough University. Drawing from both my academic achievements and clinical experiences, I aim to help you navigate the challenges of the application process with confidence. Whether it’s fine-tuning your interview performance, mastering the UCAT, or writing a standout personal statement or essay, I can provide you with the tools and strategies to succeed.

Every student is unique, and a free initial consultation allows me to understand your specific goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. This session helps me tailor our lessons to focus on the requirements of the medical schools you're applying to, ensuring a bespoke approach to your success.
Interview Preparation
* Knowledge Building: We will cover the essential topics and skills needed for medical school interviews, including ethical scenarios, communication skills, and role-play tasks.
* Mock Interviews: Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals, we’ll practice through structured mock interview rounds and station-based questions (MMIs). I’ll ensure you exude the confidence, empathy, and professionalism expected at interview.
UCAT Tutoring
The UCAT is a critical part of your application, and I specialise in helping students excel, particularly in:
* Verbal Reasoning: Focus on strategies for speed reading, comprehension, exam technique, and answering under time pressure.
* Other Sections: I also offer tutoring for the decision-making, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning, and situational judgment sections.
Personal Statement Writing
I’ll help you create a statement that highlights your experiences, passion for medicine, and unique qualities, ensuring it demonstrates insight, reflection, and meets all the criteria
