About Gulay
I am a graduate of Marmara University with Turkish Language and Literature and have lived in London for over 25 years. I am a tutor who was once in the same situation as those whose resolve to reach the next step was impeded by language so I understand the struggles of learning languages. Therefore, by using my personal experiences I have developed teaching methods that are both effective and engaging. I wish to be a part of my students' journey to speaking confidently so that they can achieve their goals and I work towards preventing language barriers from becoming obstacles to them.

I offer personalised, results-oriented lessons designed to suit each student's goals and learning style. I combine modern, research-based methodologies such as communicative language teaching and task-based learning, focusing on practical use and building confidence. Each session lasts 45-60 minutes, allowing time for speaking practice, targeted grammar, and feedback. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for exams, or learning Turkish for travel, business, or just personal interest, I offer a wide range of options.
