About Georgie

Hi, I'm Georgie! I'm an enthusiastic tutor who aims to inspire and encourage students in their learning. Over the past 4+ years, I've accumulated more than 1700 hours of online tutoring expertise, making me well-versed in guiding learners towards their academic goals.

About the lesson

At the core of my teaching philosophy lies the belief that defining clear objectives early in the learning journey is vital. Understanding whether a student aims to attain a specific grade or is on a mission to boost their confidence in a particular subject informs the direction our sessions will take. This strategic approach not only helps assess progress but also fosters positive self-reflection, ultimately enhancing students' self-assurance. During a typical session with me, we'll delve into the intricacies of the subject, explore illustrative examples, and tackle individual tasks to gauge comprehension and boost confidence. Every session is meticulously tailored to address the unique needs of each student, ensuring they receive the maximum benefit from our time together

Georgie has been my psychology tutor for the past 2 years, helping me achieve an A in my most recent mocks! She has provided me with such good advice on exam technique. In our initial meeting, she really listened to what I was struggling with and what my goals were, creating a clear plan as to how we were going to achieve them. Georgie really has given me the confidence and skills to achieve the highest grades at a-level. Can't thank her enough!
