About Ciall
I have grown studying the art of teaching and how students learn well. I have a broad education and can talk about ancient history, the elements of classical music, Latin texts, Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, Italian literature, and anything to do with maths and numbers. In short, I aim to inspire students to learn and to enjoy learning. I received an A1 in Latin for the Leaving Certificate and did two years of further study, half of which was given 99% in Latin. I already have experience teaching a weekly class of 10 young teenagers Latin as well as giving grinds in Maths, Music, and Latin to different ages and types of students. I'm a patient and considerate teacher. I have regularly taught in different ways while reading maths and Italian at Trinity College Dublin and have since started a PGCE teacher training course in maths. In particular, I have experience teaching with a tablet and stylus and using technology effectively. I am DBS enhanced certified and registered on the update service (UK equivalent of Garda vetting).

I am open to providing online intensive Latin classes available 1-1 or in small groups over summer and potentially beyond. All abilities and previous experience (or none) welcome, but previous linguistic experience is an advantage. I would use either the Henle Latin Series, Longmans' Latin, or Lingua Latina at the choice of the student. I am also open to Simplicissimus or any appropriate textbook available. As this would be an intensive summer course, I wish to be as flexible as possible with the style, frequency, and timings of the lessons and the homework in between. I am willing to give online lessons via Microsoft Apps such as OneNote, Whiteboard, and Teams.

His knowledge of math is extensive. He can make any difficult equation or mathematical problem seem easy as 123. I'd highly recommend him
Ciall is a scholarly gentleman who is very much committed to perfecting his understanding of his field so that he can instruct the next generation of mathematicians. He is a serious worker in everything he does and I have no doubt that he would be an ideal tutor for those who are serious about excelling.
I attended Trinity College Dublin with Ciall where we were in the same class and both completed a degree in Mathematics. From working and learning with Ciall I know him as someone who is very friendly, encouraging and has a great passion for teaching. As such, I believe that Ciall will be a very strong Superprof and have great success with developing and encouraging his students.
