About Ricardo
I've got a BSc Degree in Psychology, QTS and a PGCE in Teaching. I'm currently a teacher in the UK, teaching OCR GCSE Psychology and AQA A-Level - I absolutely love my job! Helping students achieve their absolute best is amazing, and I'm confident that I can help make strides in achievement. In each one hour online session, we would identify areas or weaknesses and work towards this. In that hour, I'll give knowledge of the content (key terms, studies and theories), the evaluation (strengths and weaknesses), and expert exam technique with my previous experience of examining the real exams in the summer. Then, I'll provide some ideas of tasks that could be done independently for revision away from the session. I'd also be able to give past papers and mark them, as well as analyse any assessments you may have already done in school for more feedback. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions!
I've got years of OCR GCSE Psychology and AQA A-Level Psychology teaching experience, which means I've seen students with all abilities and knowledge and have helped them achieve their very best. Ricardo is a great tutor that explains topics very well in a way that makes hard topics easy to understand. Very nice and doesn’t make you feel dumb if you don’t understand something ( this has happened to me with past tutors ).
His passion, enthusiasm and patience underpins his teaching towards his pupils. His subject knowledge is robust, again derived from his passion for Psychology. I have never encountered a teacher with such optimism and favour of teaching and his students’ appreciation, high engagement and enjoyment of his classes demonstrate this. He is also regularly involved with professional development regarding exams and new research to help better the knowledge of his pupils.
