About Kunal
I am Kunal Chandrakar, a Civil Engineering graduate from NIT Raipur. My engineering background has provided me with a rigorous foundation in advanced Mathematics and analytical problem-solving. I specialize in teaching Mathematics for students from Class 1 to Class 10.
Currently, I am an active tutor on the Filo platform, where I help students solve complex mathematical problems in real-time. I am marked as favorite tutor by 57 students on Filo. Having cleared competitive entrance exams myself, I understand the pressure students face and I focus on building a strong conceptual base that helps them not just in school, but also in future competitive exams like JEE/NEET foundations

My teaching approach is rooted in the analytical rigour I developed as an NIT Raipur graduate. I believe that Mathematics is not about memorizing formulas but about understanding the logic behind them. My classes are specifically designed for school students from Class 1 to Class 10.
Teaching Methods:
I use a step-by-step conceptual approach. I start with the basics of any topic and gradually move towards complex problem-solving. My experience as a tutor has taught me how to break down difficult Algebra or Geometry problems into simple, manageable steps.
Class Structure:
Concept Introduction: 15 minutes of deep-diving into the 'Why' and 'How'.
Live Problem Solving: We solve textbook exercises and important questions together.
Doubt Clearing: A dedicated 10-minute window to ensure no student leaves with a confusion.
Practice: I provide crisp notes and weekly assignments to track progress.
Special Features:
Having cleared competitive exams myself, I teach students time-management tricks and shortcut methods for calculations. I maintain a very patient and friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking the same doubt multiple times."
