About Travis
I graduated from Rogue Community College with my associates degree a few months after completing high school. I then went on to get my bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oregon State University. I am now in my first year at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience. Personally I was raised to value a good education and believe that anyone can achieve what they want in the classroom as long as they are willing to put in the work!

I am a relaxed tutor who will go out of my way to help make sure you are getting the most out of the tutoring as you want. As a current PhD student I understand the importance and difficulty of scientific courses. I believe the most important thing in science is finding the application of what is being taught. I will always do my best to help connect the dots of the classroom to the lab and real world!

Travis is extremely knowledgeable in all things chemistry and is able to break things down to you in ways that really make sense. He always finds ways to explain things in different terms and will stay with you until you are confident before moving onto the next thing. His beaming passion for the subject shows itself when you ask him questions. Even when you ask him to repeat the entire process for the tenth time, he is just as patient and helpful as the first. I would highly recommend taking chemistry lessons with Travis, he is exceptionally proficient and anyone would be lucky to learn from him.
Travis helped me with the krebs cycle in one of my nutrition classes. Chemistry just goes over my head so it was super helpful to have him to walk me through it and simplify it for me. Definitely recommend him as a tutor!
