About Ant
Hi, my name is Ant! I have four degrees in biology and neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin, the Sorbonne in Paris and University College London. I have a passion for science education and thoroughly enjoy tutoring students. I help them to understand complex topics, boost their confidence in their own abilities and achieve their goals. Seeing students' love for science grow is really rewarding.
I have tutored children and teenagers, from ages 6 to 18, including Leaving Cert biology. I am a native English and French speaker and have tutored children who were non-native speakers. I have also tutored students with learning and physical disabilities, adapting my lessons for them. I strongly believe in universal access to education.

I aim to help students to thoroughly understand their subject through active learning in customised lessons, feedback and discussion. I always adapt my approach to the student.
In my first session, I work with students to identify their strengths and tutoring needs to develop a personalised approach. I help students with new topics, revision and exam preparation. I use a range of materials, including mock and official exam papers, diagrams, real-world examples and videos.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes one-to-one in person or online.
