About James
Hi there! I'm James from a town called Wigan near Manchester, 19 years old, and lucky enough to attend Cambridge University as a Natural Scientist undergraduate. My main motivation for tutoring is to guide younger students through their studies, helping them to achieve the grades necessary for whatever academic ambition they may have.

Typically, lessons will be an hour long and will be broken down as a 10-15 minute discussion of a specific topic in order to gage and then deepen understanding; 30 minutes of worked examples and introduction of exam-style questions; followed by 15 minutes of more independent student work.
I have 11 GCSEs - 7 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and a 7. I attained 3 A*s at A level - maths, chemistry and physics - and now study Natural Sciences at Cambridge University.
I teach Maths and the Sciences at GCSE level, and Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A level.
