About Roger
*About Me*
Hello, I'm Roger Courtnay from Arusha, Tanzania - home of Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti.
I grew up speaking Swahili every day, and I love sharing my language and culture with the world. Tanzania welcomes thousands of visitors, volunteers, and workers every year, and I have seen how happy they are when they can greet someone in Swahili.
*Why I want to teach:*
I want to teach because I believe language connects people. Teaching online lets me meet learners from different countries while staying in my community. I am patient, friendly, and I truly enjoy helping beginners gain confidence.
When I'm not teaching, I love music ,football , cooking Tanzanian food ,hiking and exploring new places.
