About Karin

I offer personalized one-to-one tuition to help you build, improve and consolidate your English and German language skills.
> We will identify your key areas of focus together and tackle them through practical exercises.
> I place great emphasis on speaking freely and building linguistic confidence.
> I have extensive experience in the business sector, but also teach pupils in their final years.
> As a rule, I only give lessons in 60-minute or 90-minute sessions via Teams, etc.

About the lesson

I am bilingual in English and German, grew up in India and Germany, lived and worked in the UK for 10 years (in IT, telecommunications and healthcare). I love both the English and German language very much and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. My aim is to teach language with enthusiasm and a love of learning. It is important to me to work with my students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, to motivate and build on these accordingly, while making them feel at ease to simple talk freely.

I have known Karin for almost ten years.
After retiring from my professional life, I wanted to keep alive my English language skills. Karin makes her lessons very varied and engaging.
During conversations, she corrects mistakes in a constructive and clear way, while encouraging me to speak as much as possible.
Her patience is particularly remarkable, she always creates a pleasant atmosphere during lessons.
