About Ricarda
I was born and raised in Colombia for the majority of my childhood. Once I came to the USA for high school I received a 5-star accreditation for all AP Histories offered including European, Spanish, United States, World, and government. I’ve taught many younger kids before, many students my age as well in university. The most difficult part of learning a language is the psychological barrier and background knowledge you have to gain. As a teacher, understanding your student's personality and learning methods are crucial to success. I have no doubt I’ll be able to teach how to speak, read, and communicate in Spanish whether it be in parcero or wey!

A lot of Spanish taught by the book is difficult to understand and hard to grasp. By working with me, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the language while also learning slang and more common grammar in certain countries and contexts than taught in a book.
As you work with me you will also be learning LATAM culture, as to speak the language understanding the culture is necessary. From Colombia, my native country, to Argentina Spanish is spoken slightly differently but it can get very confusing very fast. Join me for Spanish and Culture!
