About Guri
I am a native Punjabi speaker with a deep love for our language, culture, and literature. Having spoken Punjabi all my life alongside fluent English, I find it easy to explain concepts, nuances, and correct pronunciation to beginners and learners living abroad.
Teaching for me is about building confidence and genuine connection. I understand that every learner is different—some pick up words quickly, while others need gentle guidance and extra practice. I take pride in being patient, supportive, and adaptable to each student's needs. My goal is to make sure you or your child feel proud, confident, and excited to speak Punjabi every single day.

Sat Sri Akal! Growing up in Punjab, speaking our native language with warmth and pride has always been a special part of my life. I know how important it is for families living abroad to help their kids stay connected to their Punjabi roots, and how challenging it can feel to start from scratch.
My classes are friendly, comfortable, and completely pressure-free. We focus on natural conversations—the everyday Punjabi you use with grandparents, family, and friends. For learners interested in Gurmukhi, we go letter by letter using simple visuals and easy practice sheets so it never feels overwhelming. For kids, I keep sessions playful and engaging with practical examples so they genuinely look forward to learning.
I am very patient and customize every lesson to your pace. Whether you want to speak fluently at home or read Punjabi books, I am here to help you get there step by step. Looking forward to meeting you!
