About FANG CHUN
Hi! I’m Fang Chun, a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan and currently a master’s student in the United States.
Before becoming a graduate student, I worked as an ICU nurse for several years. I’ve met many people and witnessed so many different stories of life, which taught me the importance of listening, sharing, and connecting with others.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy journalism, watching movies, reading, and having meaningful conversations. I love sharing stories and learning about people from different backgrounds. I’m also a good listener, so if you enjoy talking about your life, interests, culture, or even random things that happened during your day, I’d love to hear them!
If you’re also someone who enjoys a good conversation, sharing stories, and getting to know each other through language, maybe we’ll make a great match.

Let’s learn Mandarin through real conversations! Instead of focusing only on textbooks and grammar, I like to create a relaxed environment where you can practice speaking naturally and talk about topics you actually enjoy.
We might start with a casual conversation, followed by useful vocabulary and phrases based on what we talked about. I can also help with pronunciation, sentence structure, and Taiwanese culture and everyday expressions.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some Mandarin experience, I’m happy to adjust the lessons to your level and goals. Most importantly, I want you to enjoy the process of learning Mandarin!
