About Irene
Hi! I'm Irene Varghese from Ernakulam, Kerala. I'm currently taking a gap year to figure out what I want to do next, so I thought I'd spend some of my free time doing something I genuinely enjoy teaching Malayalam and sharing a bit of my culture with others.
I'm a native Malayalam speaker and have some experience as a content creator, so I enjoy connecting with people and explaining things in a simple and engaging way. I speak English fluently and can understand Hindi as well, which makes it easier for me to teach learners from different backgrounds.
More than just the language, I'd love to share a little about Kerala, its culture, and the way Malayalam is actually spoken in everyday life. My goal is to keep classes relaxed, comfortable, and tailored to your pace, so learning feels more like a conversation than a classroom.
My classes are open to beginners, travelers, children, or anyone interested in learning Malayalam and exploring Kerala's culture along the way.
