About Élise

Salut! My name is Élise, I am originally French but grew up in Québec which makes me a great choice in tutors if you are trying to acquire an international French or a more Canadian French!
I had the privilege of studying Linguistics at McGill University (2018), getting my master's degree in Education at Simon Fraser University (2023) and teaching High school French (and Spanish) for the past 7 years! :)
I love being able to teach one on one and help students reach their full potential from beginners to advanced learners!

In my opinion, there is no better way to learn than in a casual conversational form! As a linguistics graduate and a High school French teacher, I approach learning in a fun, relatable way while understanding how to deepen your knowledge and comprehension of French.
Looking forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

Having 7 years of classroom teaching under my belt, my approach to tutoring looks like a conversation-based session to improve listening and speaking naturally while focusing on improving grammar and expanding vocabulary.
-Exam prep for DELF AP or IB French
- Improve your French grade naturally
- Get ready for the workplace!
