About Clara

A little about myself: I am passionate about languages. I love to find connections between words, sentence structures, and cultures. I feel like you can really appreciate and understand a different culture by learning a language. The way people express ideas and feelings can be very enlightening to their mindset!

I've been a private tutor in France for 3 years, in Maths, Geopolitics, French, Spanish and Philosophy.

I have learned English, studied some Italian and Spanish and I am currently learning Chinese as a beginner... so I know exactly what it is like to learn a new language ;) and the methods to reach your language goals!

If you are interested, let's discuss your goals, hopes, and dreams about French and design a plan to make it happen!

About the lesson

I believe each student has his own needs. My classes are tailored for their level and their interests. I like to link an academic approach (grammar, oral comprehension, reading, listening) to a personal one. I always take time to have a conversation with my tutee on a subject he likes, to develop vocabulary in different fields and learn French idioms !

I've developed different methods with my students :

- Increasing student engagement during lessons.
- Improving test scores for students.
- Cultivating positive student, parent, and teacher relationships.

In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for French language, culture, history, philosophy and literature.
