About Nell
I am a native French speaker currently completing a Master's degree in Health Law and Medical Liability at a leading French university, having already obtained my Bachelor's degree with honors. My academic background has trained me in rigor, clear communication, and critical thinking, skills I bring directly into my teaching.
Beyond academics, I have hands-on experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to explain things clearly to people from all backgrounds. I am fully bilingual (English C1 level, certified via Oxford Placement Test), reliable, well-organized, and genuinely passionate about helping others progress.

As a native French speaker currently completing a Master's degree in Health Law, I bring both academic rigour and genuine warmth to my lessons. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and fully adapted to each student's pace, goals, and personality. There is no one-size-fits-all method here.
I focus on building confidence first: speaking a language shouldn't feel intimidating. Depending on your needs, I combine conversation practice, grammar fundamentals, reading comprehension, and cultural insights into French-speaking countries. I like to use real-life situations, current events, and topics you actually enjoy (fashion, travel, literature, etc.) to keep lessons engaging rather than purely academic.
Lesson structure
Lessons typically last 1 hour, though this can be adjusted (30 minutes for younger learners or quick conversation practice, up to 1.5–2 hours for exam preparation or intensive sessions). Each lesson includes a mix of speaking practice, targeted exercises, and constructive feedback, with a short review of previous material to reinforce learning.
My background
I am a native French speaker, currently based in Dublin, with a strong academic foundation (Bachelor's and Master's degrees from a French university, with honours) and excellent written and spoken English (C1 level). I also bring soft skills developed through legal research, customer-facing retail experience, and volunteer work, meaning I know how to explain things clearly, listen carefully, and adapt to different audiences.
