Hi, I’m Kylie! I’m a university student with a strong interest in languages and enjoy helping others feel more confident when learning Chinese.

Hi! My name is Kylie, and I’m a university student who enjoys helping others learn Chinese in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
My teaching approach is to make Chinese easier to understand by focusing on practical communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday conversations. I can adjust my lessons depending on your level and what you want to improve. I believe learning a language should be useful and enjoyable, so I try to use examples and conversations that you can actually use in real life.
A typical lesson can include reviewing previous vocabulary, learning new words or grammar, practicing pronunciation, and having a short conversation using what we learned. I’m also happy to focus more on speaking, reading, writing, or vocabulary depending on your goals.
What sets me apart is that I’m patient and willing to explain things in different ways if something is difficult to understand. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and students who want to improve their basic to intermediate Chinese, including speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and everyday conversation. I can also personalize lessons based on your specific learning goals.
