About May
Hi, I'm May! I'm a native British English speaker from the UK and a friendly, patient and easy-going person.
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about different cultures, so I love the idea of helping people improve their English while having interesting conversations along the way.
I know that speaking a language can feel very different from simply understanding it. Sometimes you know what you want to say but can't find the right words, or you worry about making mistakes. I want to create a relaxed environment where you can practise speaking without feeling nervous or judged.
I'm particularly interested in helping intermediate and advanced learners who want to become more confident, speak more naturally and get comfortable having real conversations in English.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and focused on real-life English conversation. I work with intermediate and advanced learners who want to feel more confident speaking English with a native British speaker.
We can talk about topics that interest you, such as travel, culture, food, films, hobbies, work or everyday life. During our conversation, I'll help you with vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and more natural ways to express yourself.
I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, while also giving you useful feedback to help you improve.
Lessons are usually 50–60 minutes and are held online. I'll adapt each lesson to your level, interests and goals.
