About Soham
I am a Nanotechnology Engineering student at University of Waterloo which means I have studied and went through the same courses that I am teaching and excelled at them. I taught Nano-specific topics and PCB design to first years with the Education Team of a design team. I also was a Master Warrant Officer in Army Cadets which means I have made formal lesson plans, taught cadet-related lessons and have received good feedback on it. In short, I have taken high school math and science courses and know what parts cause people to struggle, I have taught both STEM-related and cadet-related lessons and have received positive feedback from my supervisors and I understand how and what topics can be helpful for university. I know what techniques are helpful and I know how to address people's doubts and worries. Together we can handle whatever topics you are struggling with!

I provide in-person and online tutoring sessions. My sessions start by me introducing the topic and explaining difficult concepts using plain English and visual diagrams so that the students can understand.
Then I move over to the mathematical formulas that are necessary and explain how those work. After that, I look into some practice questions. While looking into practice questions, I use the GRASS (Given, Required, Analysis, Solution, Statement) method to help students understand what the question is looking for and how to approach the problem.
After looking into some more general problems, I look into the more tricky cases that students usually make mistakes in and give them important tips and tricks so they don't fall into common traps.
