About Laxmi
I am a qualified Social Worker, Nepali language interpreter/translator, based in London. I received my B.A. (Social Work) degree from the University of East London. My passion is in the field of education and gender that led me to pursue an M.A. from the Institute of Education (IoE) at UCL, London. I write regularly monthly column for the Nepali News portal: ‘Everest Khabar’. When not working or teaching, I enjoy going up and down hills for hiking and experience the essence of nature.

I plan and implement a variety of teaching pedagogies to emphasize learning, for example, student-centered approach, direct participatory, and interactive methods with evidence-based practice. I have created the syllabus for the non-Nepali speaker to understand the Nepali language in simple and fun ways.
