About Lindsay
I have been singing in choirs and musical theater since around 12 years old. I play several instruments as well. I have participated in both concert and show choirs, including Indiana's All-State choir in high school and upper-level choruses in college. I have several years experience in opera and was accepted to study at the Salzburg Festival two years in a row.

I believe in building strong technique through body awareness. Lessons begin with body awareness exercises that can include breathing, stretching, warming up with dynamic movement, and some Alexander Technique exercises. Each lesson will include a sizable technique portion, followed by repertoire work. Repertoire choices will be informed by student ability and by interest. I want learning to be student-guided and encourage student interest to lead the way in lessons to determine which skills we should focus on most heavily.
