About Viola

I was born and raised in New York City, where I grew up speaking French with my mother and Italian with my father. After spending six years in Montreal where I gave writing and music lessons, I moved to France, where I currently write articles for science magazines.

I like baking, reading, crafting, linguistics, and biology, and am always curious to learn about topics I know nothing of!

About the lesson

My French and Italian lessons are for anyone in middle school or above, no matter what level. I love working with students to understand their needs and wants for lessons. If you have a hobby, a passion, or a particular interest, I'll make sure to tailor the lessons accordingly!

Viola has stoked my love of language and etymology from day one. She's an excellent instructor who is encouraging, patient and fun - every language lesson with her has been an absolute blast and I never noticed the time pass! She's also incredibly helpful with examples, etymology, and guidance with finding the right words. Would recommend wholeheartedly!
