About Favoured
I am a very enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, an excellent communicator and a top performing student. I am currently enrolled for an Msc in biomedical and molecular sciences with management at the University of Dundee. I have a BSc in Microbiology and I have actually gained work experience as a laboratory scientist for about 4 years before commencing my masters program. My educational background coupled with my practical experience has made me grounded in understanding basic biological concepts. This will enable me properly impact knowledge and give relatable examples when I teach. I also have great organization skills, exceptional IT skills with good use of microsoft office packages, I am internet savvy, patient, tolerant and eager to teach, I also have good team work, team building and leadership skills.
Additionally, I am currently a student ambassador at university of Dundee and my job role includes communicating with prospective students, sharing my personal experience with them and answering any questions they may have. I take a relaxed and practical approach to teaching. I believe that once a concept can be made relatable to someone in a relaxed atmosphere, they would not only understand it, but put it to memory. I am enthused and passionate about life sciences and this enthusiasm makes it easy for me to engage anyone and help them understand what I teach.

My approach to teaching is to start form the known to the unknown. I like to make every concept relatable and give examples that are easy to remember so that students feel encouraged to learn rather than overwhelmed. I also like to create a relaxed atmosphere by telling some jokes to ensure the students are well relaxed and poised to learn. However, I ensure good control of the classroom to avoid distractions.
