About Jenny
I am a working scientist for over a decade. I work in diagnostic hospital laboratories, hematology and blood transfusion specifically. I provide emergency out-of-hours cover in those departments plus biochemistry and microbiology also. My job entails testing blood for parameters such as hemoglobin or cell counts. Testing blood for transfusions and all blood products used in managing bleeding patients in hospital. Viewing blood microscopically and performing microscopic cell counts on blood and CSF fluid. Testing patients' organ and bodily functions. My education to do this involved cellular and molecular biology, immunology, physiology, pathophysiology, immunotechnology, physics, math, inorganic and organic chemistry, hematology, blood transfusion, cellular pathology, clinical chemistry, and many minor subjects also.
