About Sarah
Hello! I am Sarah, an undergraduate student in my third year studying French and Latin at the University of Cambridge.
I have a passion for both ancient and modern languages and for teaching, and I am very hardworking and friendly. I hope to help you enjoy learning Latin and make progress in the language. As a student myself who has gone through GCSEs, A levels and University exams, I understand what makes an engaging and productive lesson.
I can tailor my lessons to the goals and requirements of my students, both those looking for help with their studies and those wishing simply to learn and improve their language skills.

I give online structured lessons which I tailor to the goals and requirements of my students.
For those preparing for exams in Latin, we can revise grammar such as tenses and endings as well as looking at how to achieve the highest grades using advanced constructions and exam technique.
Having achieved a 9 at GCSE and an A* at A level in Latin, I know the syllabus very well and so can help any student preparing for these exams.
For students who wish to practise Latin away from examinations, I can also provide exercises to practise translating, reading and prose composition (English into Latin!). Lesson length can vary depending on the needs of the student.
I have tutored previously in French and can adapt lesson structure to the needs of each student.
I am very happy to teach students of all levels and ages.
