About ALISON
I have a PhD from Duke University and a postdoctorate degree at the prestigious MIT, where I taught MBA and undergraduates and received excellent/very good teaching evaluations. I had been a faculty with University of Washington for 7 years and had experience teaching students from very diverse background. My parents were not college educated. It didn't stop me from getting full scholarship into top ranking university in the U.S.

Maths and computer programming skills are logical thinking skills that benefit the growing mind of children in many other science subjects. It starts with pattern recognition and inference. I gather logic puzzles that train children's mind to focus to identify patterns. Those pattern recognition skills allow them to learn difficult subjects on their own in high school, college and beyond.
