I've played guitar since my freshman year of high school and taken it with me wherever I've been. Can't sing to save my life though.

I like to start at the very basics, focusing of getting the sound that you're looking for out of your instrument. then we move on to simple, "one note at a time" songs. Then into basic chords, and basic, more popular songs. After that, we can move into more complex chords, picking styles, strum patterns, ect.
