Interactive Learning: I encourage you to ask questions, engage in discussions, and apply what you’ve learned through practice problems or role-playing (for public speaking). Repetition & Practice: I emphasize learning through consistent practice and repetition to make sure the material sticks. Positive Reinforcement: I make sure to acknowledge your progress and provide support when things get tough. Typical Length of a Lesson My lessons usually last 45 minutes to 1 hour, but I can adjust to shorter or longer sessions depending on your needs. Consistency is key, so I recommend weekly sessions for the best progress. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor Although I am new to formal tutoring, I hold a Bachelor’s in Microbiology and a secondary teaching certification, with a solid background in public speaking and education. I have years of experience in delivering science lectures, leading discussions, and helping classmates grasp difficult concepts. As a Toastmaster, I’ve honed my public speaking skills and taught others how to improve communication and overcome speaking anxiety. I’ve supported students informally in understanding their coursework and improving their speaking abilities.
