About Matt
I am an MEng Aerospace Engineering student in my final year at the University of Manchester. Currently I have achieved 1st Class grades in my first 3 years of my degree, including my dissertation and am on track to achieve a 1st Class degree when I graduate. I’ve achieved A* grades in Maths at GCSE and A-level and studied modules of maths in my degree at University. I have had a year of industrial experience at a leading aerospace company so I can aid further in applying maths to real-life applications and I can advise on my experiences of careers in STEM.

I would provide an introduction to the subject and learn about the current ability of the student through a number of questions. This will allow me to see what area is best focused on. Equally if the student would like to learn or practice a certain topic, this can be accommodated.
For maths, I have always found that learning is easier with plenty of examples. I aim for the student to learn through guided tutoring. If necessary I would aid the student through hints until they find the correct answer themselves in order for them to learn the process and I am very happy in taking time to explain a topic or example step by step until it is fully understood by the student.
